Base Salary
$175k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop prototypes for next-generation memory solutions and system software supporting energy-efficient AI/ML computing infrastructure.
- Develop system software involving memory management, cache hierarchy, data transfer protocols, frameworks, and APIs.
- Collaborate with hardware architects on hardware/software co-design, integration, and performance optimization.
- Optimize system software for performance, power efficiency, and scalability.
- Create and maintain documentation, technical specifications, and test plans.
- Participate in system software design and architecture discussions with internal teams and industry ecosystem partners.
- Track emerging developments in AI, memory systems, and system software and communicate with internal and external collaborators.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or 6+ years of system software development experience focused on memory system architecture and AI infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, memory systems, and system software design.
- Experience with Python, C, or C++ programming languages.
- Knowledge of operating systems, device drivers, and system programming.
- Working knowledge of GPU architecture and CUDA programming.
- Ability to debug complex system software issues and solve problems effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
