Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable microservices and APIs for shared Forterro business services.
- Build robust backend services using C#, .NET, and .NET Core in a distributed architecture environment.
- Own complex technical developments from technical framing through production deployment.
- Contribute to service design, component decomposition, interfaces, architecture evolution, and data access using PostgreSQL.
- Ensure the quality, security, robustness, performance, and maintainability of delivered software.
- Participate in code reviews, technical standards, testing, debugging, and continuous engineering improvement.
- Develop and maintain shared libraries and NuGet packages to promote reuse and technical consistency.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline industrialization using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with teams in Morocco and France on platform, product, and shared-service development.
- Mentor less experienced developers through reviews, knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and diagnostic support without direct people-management responsibility.
- Contribute when needed to MyForterro authorization services, core services, and AI-related capabilities.
Requirements
- Confirmed professional experience in backend software development, preferably in B2B, SaaS, platform, or multi-product environments.
- Excellent production experience with C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
- Strong experience designing and developing secure APIs.
- Good knowledge of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of microservices, service integration, service architecture, component decomposition, maintainability, and scalability.
- Experience with software quality practices including code reviews, unit tests, integration tests, debugging, and continuous improvement.
- Good understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
- Experience creating or maintaining NuGet packages for code sharing between components.
- Experience implementing and evolving CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitHub Actions.
- Good command of GitHub and Jira in a modern development environment.
- Ability to work autonomously on complex technical subjects and explain technical practices and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent French and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams based in France.
