Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain features across the full stack.
- Build high-quality, accessible frontend experiences using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Architect and ship backend services and APIs using Python, Django, and SQL.
- Monitor and improve AI performance KPIs, including system latency.
- Own work across the entire software development lifecycle.
- Ship early and often, breaking big problems into small, releasable increments.
- Dig into user feedback and analytics to identify and solve real problems.
- Leverage monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Demonstrated experience with Python and Django.
- Proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational and vector databases.
- Comfortable working in cloud environments like GCP or AWS.
- Experience monitoring production services and owning service health.
- Ability to lead projects as a technical lead.
- Genuine interest in user problems and user-centered design.
- Excellent communication skills for technical discussions.
