Responsibilities
- Design and implement algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly reliable system software.
- Develop and maintain data transmission protocols and internal storage components for Object products on FlashBlade and FlashArray.
- Own complex features and components end to end from concept and design through delivery and ongoing maintenance.
- Analyze and solve complex distributed-systems and low-level technical challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering, product development, account management, operations, and other stakeholders.
- Deliver reliable, high-quality systems that support customer satisfaction and product goals.
Requirements
- Proficiency building and maintaining large-scale, high-performance systems using Java, Golang, and/or C++.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, reliable, and scalable code.
- Ability to own complex features or components from design through delivery while ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills for distributed or low-level system challenges.
- Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional engineering, product, and operations teams.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn new technologies, and ability to propose creative technical improvements.
