Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend and frontend systems for enterprise Data to Decision projects.
- Integrate algorithmic output from data science and engineering teams through backend APIs.
- Create dynamic infographics and intuitive user controls with business and product owners.
- Participate in UAT and diagnose and troubleshoot bugs and application integration issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for developed processes and applications.
- Design and develop RESTful services, APIs, databases, applications, and servers.
- Deploy and maintain high-traffic infrastructure and optimize application performance.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of demonstrable experience designing, building, and working as a Full Stack Engineer for enterprise web applications.
- Expert-level proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React or Vue, Node.js, Python, and Django or Flask; Java is an alternative backend language.
- Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, data warehousing concepts, REST APIs, responsive web design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Hands-on experience with test-driven development and testing libraries such as Jest, PyTest, and Nose.
- Familiarity with JavaScript visualization libraries such as D3, Chart.js, and Highcharts.
- Understanding of backend performance optimization, multithreading, and high-traffic infrastructure.
- Familiarity with GitHub and code versioning tools.
- Preferred familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, AWS, or GCP.
- Preferred experience with UX collaboration, microservices, RabbitMQ, Nginx, Apache HTTPD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
- Bachelor's, master's, or equivalent technical education in Computer Science or a related field.
