Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain internal developer tooling, platforms, and infrastructure that improve engineering productivity, reliability, and experience.
- Own complex technical initiatives from scoping and architecture through implementation, rollout, and iteration.
- Use data, feedback, and collaboration with engineering teams to identify and reduce developer-experience friction and toil.
- Contribute to technical direction through design reviews, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Make sound technical decisions and adapt effectively in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering complex production systems.
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages used in platform or infrastructure contexts, such as Go, Ruby, Python, or Java.
- Experience building or contributing to developer tooling, internal platforms, CI/CD systems, or developer productivity infrastructure.
- Ability to independently scope, design, and deliver technical projects with cross-functional impact.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical trade-offs.
- Preferred: experience on Developer Experience, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure teams; familiarity with observability tooling, build systems, or developer environment management; experience in a high-growth technology company; and a record of influencing engineering culture or best practices.
