
Automation Engineer

- Assess business processes for traditional, workflow, AI-assisted, or agentic automation opportunities.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, maintain, and enhance enterprise automation workflows, scripts, APIs, and tools.
- Support production UiPath, Power Automate, and Python automations, including failure resolution, root-cause analysis, scheduling, queue management, and minor enhancements.
- Build reusable automation frameworks, connectors, templates, libraries, integrations, and orchestration components.
- Develop AI-enabled workflows involving prompt templates, API integrations, retrieval workflows, validation, document processing, automated triage, and human-in-the-loop review.
- Support agentic automation patterns that coordinate tools, systems, data sources, and AI services under appropriate controls.
- Manage tickets, incidents, changes, deployment validation, releases, documentation, dashboards, and operational reporting.
- Collaborate with AI, data, engineering, IT, product, security, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture, security, privacy, responsible AI, governance, reliability, observability, and scalability standards.
- Train users and technical teams and communicate timelines, risks, dependencies, blockers, and business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in automation engineering, software engineering, or technology delivery roles.
- Hands-on enterprise-scale experience designing and implementing automation solutions, including UiPath and Power Automate.
- Proficiency with Python or comparable scripting and programming languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of APIs, web services, data formats, workflow orchestration, system integrations, and automation debugging.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, containerization, orchestration, monitoring, and version control.
- Knowledge of automation and engineering tools or frameworks such as Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible, Robot Framework, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Exposure to AI-enabled automation, LLM-based tools, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, model APIs, evaluation, guardrails, document processing, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Experience collaborating with AI/ML, data engineering, product, security, and business teams.
- Master’s degree or certifications in automation engineering, cloud platforms, AI/ML, data engineering, software engineering, DevOps, or related areas are advantageous or desirable.
- Media and Entertainment, technology, data operations, or similar fast-paced industry experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, attention-to-detail, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to support junior team members and manage multiple priorities and delivery timelines.
