Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable full-stack systems, including backend services, APIs, and interactive web applications.
- Build backend services with clean, documented APIs, observability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop frontend experiences for workflow visibility, orchestration state, permissions, and operational insights.
- Implement workflow and orchestration logic coordinating human and AI tasks, including policies, retries, SLAs, and auditability.
- Integrate enterprise tools, data sources, and third-party APIs into end-to-end workflows.
- Ensure production readiness through testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and operational practices.
- Collaborate with product, AI, platform, and enterprise customers to translate requirements into maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to architecture and improve scalability, maintainability, and developer experience.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and operating production web applications as a software engineer.
- Experience developing secure enterprise applications, preferably in regulated industries.
- Strong backend development experience with Python and FastAPI or Django, or Node.js with TypeScript.
- Experience building modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs and working with relational databases such as Postgres.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, including automated testing, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Experience deploying and operating applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
- Experience or interest in AI-enabled products, ML-powered systems, workflow orchestration, state machines, event-driven architectures, enterprise security requirements, developer tools, productivity platforms, or enterprise software is preferred.
- Familiarity with containerization and infrastructure tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is preferred.
