Base Salary
$125k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications and reusable database components from product vision through implementation.
- Perform Oracle PL/SQL and query performance tuning on large-volume production data sets, including execution plan analysis, bulk operations, partitioning, and indexing strategy.
- Investigate and resolve production performance and stability issues and continuously improve scalability, performance, security, and serviceability.
- Evaluate technologies, external products, and designs for roadmap applicability and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with global software, DevOps, infrastructure, business, project management, and development teams.
- Support and enhance the product codebase and continuous integration pipeline.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate PL/SQL coding, code review, and testing.
- Complete assigned special projects and other duties.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software design and development using Oracle.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with advanced Oracle features such as BULK Collection.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Oracle database development and performance tuning, including PL/SQL tuning for large-volume data sets.
- Experience with execution plan analysis, bulk operations, partitioning, and indexing strategy.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code for development, code review, and testing.
- Deep understanding of advanced Oracle database development features.
- Experience with JIRA and Git.
- Experience configuring CI servers such as Hudson, Jenkins, Bamboo, or Cruise Control and implementing CI/CD.
- Knowledge of functional programming is preferred.
- Exposure to software development lifecycle methodologies and Agile Scrum techniques is preferred.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams.
