Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Java 17 microservices using Spring Boot.
- Build event-driven applications using Kafka.
- Deploy applications using Azure cloud services and container platforms.
- Integrate APIs with Azure API Management.
- Work on cloud modernization and microservices migration initiatives.
- Integrate applications with AI/LLM-based services when required.
- Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams on cloud deployments.
- Guide developers and ensure coding best practices.
- Lead modules or small engineering teams while delivering scalable enterprise solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required.
- The stated experience profile is 8–11 years.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java microservices development and Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with Java 17, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Kafka, Azure messaging services, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, and Azure API Management.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic understanding of LLMs and generative AI, with exposure to LLM APIs or AI integrations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or 15 years of full-time education.
