Base Salary
$159k - $254k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end development of voice and chat AI systems from concept through production.
- Build and evolve integrations with third-party AI platforms and internal systems.
- Design and implement observability, monitoring, and outcome tracking for AI support experiences.
- Make technical decisions based on production data and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with product, support operations, and AI/ML teams to create robust systems.
- Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
- Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong background in Java, Kotlin, or other object-oriented languages.
- Proven ability to own complex features or projects from design through production.
- Experience building integrations with third-party APIs or platforms.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and making pragmatic tradeoffs.
- Strong collaboration skills across product, operations, and technical teams.
- Proficient with AI tooling such as Cursor, Claude, and MCP servers.
- Self-starter who takes ownership of problems and drives work forward.
