Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver large-scale platform architectures across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Develop and deploy OPIR ground systems capabilities supporting mission-critical military operations.
- Translate operational needs into resilient, scalable, secure, and interoperable technical solutions.
- Support requirements development, lead or participate in design reviews, and provide architecture recommendations throughout the system lifecycle.
- Provide authoritative technical guidance to federal and military clients and lead technical teams.
- Support systems engineering, integration, modernization, and long-term sustainability efforts.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing system architectures, planning with Agile methodologies, working with on-premise hardware, and integrating complex space or ground systems.
- Experience supporting space, ground, software, or hardware systems in Major Defense Acquisition Programs.
- Experience architecting and implementing cloud-based solutions and cloud-based development.
- Experience supporting systems engineering and integration for DoD, government, or commercial programs.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes or OpenShift and with software development lifecycle practices.
- Knowledge of networking, external interface integration, zero-trust principles, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Ability to lead technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Secret clearance is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred qualifications include OPIR or missile-warning experience, risk assessments, threat modeling, DoD 5000.01/02 knowledge, TS/SCI eligibility, a technical master’s degree, Security+ or cloud certification, AWS certification, Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Google Certified Professional - Cloud Architect, or MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Certification.
