Base Salary

$114k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Plan and evolve processes and infrastructure supporting rapid capability maturation and deployment.
  • Integrate automated development pipelines with testing tools and continuous integration and delivery frameworks.
  • Define and implement build, deployment, provisioning, monitoring, software configuration management, code quality, and code coverage standards.
  • Build and configure CI/CD delivery environments and automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
  • Create scripts and templates for infrastructure provisioning, system management, and efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor and support installed systems and infrastructure, including operating systems, applications, and system management tools.
  • Contribute to information and operational support system design.
  • Oversee security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Evaluate application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions with developers.
  • Collaborate with development teams, vendors, and IT personnel to resolve problems.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access.
  • Active U.S. Government CI polygraph, current and within scope.
  • United States citizenship.
  • Principal level: bachelor's degree plus 5 or more years of relevant experience, master's degree plus 3 years, PhD plus 0 years, or 9 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Senior Principal level: bachelor's degree plus 8 or more years of relevant experience, master's degree plus 6 years, PhD plus 4 years, or 12 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Linux or related operating-system administration experience.
  • Experience in an Agile software development framework.
  • Experience with at least three preferred qualifications.
  • Security+ certification is not required at start but must be obtainable within six months; current Security+ is preferred.
  • Preferred qualifications include Kubernetes administration, AWS administration, Flux, Helm, DynamoDB, NATS configuration, Big Bang, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Jenkins, GitLab, and Bamboo.
