Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, application development, and model development.
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet business or user-area needs.
- Monitor and control development through analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and user and operational support.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and evaluate system design and functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; install systems and assist with customer exposure systems.
- Define operating standards and processes, assess business risks, support compliance, and escalate control issues transparently.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of relevant Java application development experience.
- Working experience with Java, Oracle SQL, Kafka Middleware, Unix Shell commands, and AutoSys.
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
