Base Salary
$80k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead transportation and supply chain technology solutions for clients, including demonstrations, configuration, testing, implementation, and deployment support.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for transportation management systems and client and business-partner system integrations.
- Define business requirements, design processes, support implementation, and assist with organizational change.
- Document and maintain functional requirements and research technology-driven solutions and best practices.
- Identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities through data collection, analysis, modeling, and network optimization.
- Manage projects through implementation and communicate project activities to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Investigate root causes, recommend process improvements, and implement action plans for transportation improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, decision support systems or technology, transportation management, distribution, or procurement.
- Experience with data mining and generating simulations in Microsoft BI, Access, and Excel.
- Preferred experience with ILOG, Supply Chain Guru, Appian, data modeling, logistics-related systems, and transportation management systems.
- Preferred experience collecting and analyzing data for modeling, network optimization, or transportation redesign.
- Lean Six Sigma experience and strong project management, presentation, and communication skills are preferred.
