Base Salary

$152k - $178k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product managers, designers, tech leads, and business stakeholders to translate customer and commercial questions into scalable data and segmentation solutions.
  • Design and maintain Azure-based data platform and segmentation architectures spanning ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and activation.
  • Build production-grade data preparation, feature engineering, training, inference, and ML pipelines for batch and near-real-time use cases.
  • Develop predictive, recommendation, classification, regression, clustering, forecasting, deep learning, computer vision, embedding, vector search, and RAG solutions as appropriate.
  • Develop APIs and services that expose model predictions to web, mobile, CRM, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications.
  • Implement model evaluation, testing, validation, monitoring, versioning, deployment, retraining, and rollback strategies.
  • Ensure data quality, lineage, observability, reliability, privacy, consent, regulatory compliance, and responsible use of customer and commercial data.
  • Troubleshoot data pipelines, models, inference services, APIs, and production environments, and participate in architecture and code reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in data platform, analytics engineering, backend engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong Python programming experience and familiarity with common data and machine learning libraries.
  • Production machine learning experience with frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or XGBoost.
  • Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, model selection, feature engineering, and statistical modeling.
  • Experience preparing large datasets, designing training and inference pipelines, deploying models to production, and working with large enterprise datasets using SQL.
  • Practical MLOps experience including experiment tracking, model versioning, CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Experience developing or integrating APIs and services for model inference and applying strong software engineering practices.
  • Experience with cloud-based data and machine learning platforms, especially Azure data platform capabilities.
  • Ability to select the simplest effective modeling approach and communicate effectively with product, business, engineering, and data teams.

  • Base pay is listed at $152,000–$178,300 USD annually, with medical, financial, and other benefits offered depending on the position.
  • The role is located in Atlanta, United States, requires 0%–25% travel, and does not provide relocation.
  • Annual incentive reference value is 15%.
