Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance complex software applications.
- Develop front-end and back-end code, integrate software components, and troubleshoot or upgrade existing systems.
- Design tests and test-automation suites, develop verification plans and quality assurance procedures, and review test plans and data.
- Gather requirements and prepare BRD/SRD documentation when needed.
- Participate in code reviews, deployment processes, change controls, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with data engineers, business users, project managers, and other engineers to deliver shared team objectives.
- Compile technical documentation and mentor junior-level engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 2–6 years of software development experience, including front-end and back-end development.
- Thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle and experience with application development toolkits.
- Knowledge of C#, Java, HTML, Node.js, CSS, JSON, Angular, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of application frameworks, containerization, cross-platform interoperability, and multiple platform toolkits.
- Experience resolving hardware, software, and communications malfunctions and understanding their business impact.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
