Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Microsoft Access and VBA.
- Design and write complex queries in MS Access.
- Create and maintain VBA modules, reusable functions, and automation scripts.
- Develop and customize Access Forms, Reports, and Macros.
- Integrate MS Access applications with SQL Server using ODBC connectivity.
- Execute SQL Server Stored Procedures from Access applications.
- Implement robust exception handling, debugging, and logging mechanisms in VBA.
- Develop interactive dashboards, KPI reports, and analytical reports using Power BI.
- Work with Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query Editor, and data modeling.
- Create and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS packages.
- Execute SSIS packages through SQL jobs and VBA code automation.
- Support database operations, production deployment activities, and issue resolution.
- Work with BAT files and Windows Task Scheduler for automation processes.
- Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Ensure database performance optimization, data integrity, and application reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in MS Access VBA development.
- Strong expertise in VBA scripting and automation.
- Experience in designing and writing complex Access queries.
- Experience creating Forms, Reports, Modules, Macros, and Functions.
- Strong knowledge of error handling and debugging techniques in VBA.
- Experience with ODBC SQL Server connections.
- Hands-on experience executing SQL Server Stored Procedures.
- Good knowledge of MS SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Understanding of relational database concepts and performance optimization.
- Strong experience in Power BI Dashboard and Report development.
- Experience creating KPI dashboards and analytical reports.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query Editor, and Data Modeling.
- Knowledge of SSIS package development and execution is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of BAT file scripting and Windows Task Scheduler automation.
- Knowledge of SharePoint and MS Forms is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of AWS services and FTP/SFTP file transfer processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
