Base Salary
$151k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own calibration across a growing multi-platform fleet by onboarding vehicle types, root-causing production failures, and creating reusable workflows.
- Drive cross-team initiatives to improve calibration reliability and trace failures across build, hardware, and infrastructure systems.
- Build and operate cloud workflow orchestration for calibration from data collection through evaluation and deployment.
- Design automated data-health gates for IMU/INS, GNSS/RTK, lidar, and camera data.
- Deliver production-quality self-service tooling for non-expert internal users.
- Debug across cloud and vehicle boundaries using orchestration and application logs and by verifying physical sensor wiring.
- Automate recurring failures and contribute to technical design, mentoring, and cross-team alignment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and operating production software systems.
- Strong Python and modern C++ skills.
- Ownership experience for a pipeline, platform, or internal tool relied upon by other teams.
- Hands-on experience with a cloud workflow orchestration framework such as Flyte, Airflow, or Argo.
- Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and data pipelines handling large binary or log data.
- Strong systems debugging skills, including diagnosing misleading surface symptoms from logs.
- Sensor and robotics data literacy covering IMU/INS, GNSS/RTK, lidar, and camera data.
- Experience with physical systems, sensors, or hardware-in-the-loop.
- Ability to drive technical work across team boundaries without formal authority.
- Preferred: robotics, autonomous vehicle, drone, or industrial autonomy infrastructure experience; ROS/MCAP, PTP, sensor timestamp alignment, sensor calibration, geometric transforms, self-service tooling, design documents, or engineering mentorship.
