Software Engineer - Gitlab CI CD
HARMAN InternationalResponsibilities
- Configure, customize, and build embedded Linux distributions with the Yocto Project.
- Develop Yocto layers and recipes for project development.
- Integrate third-party libraries, tools, and drivers into custom Linux distributions.
- Triage build failures, troubleshoot build issues, and optimize build times.
- Collaborate with CI/build implementation and DevOps teams to resolve failures and optimize workflows.
- Provide solutions and guidance to users and support seamless integration.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience with GitLab CI/CD and related build and integration work.
- Strong experience with the Yocto Project, including recipes, layers, image customization, and continuous integration environments.
- Hands-on experience with Python and shell scripting, plus proficiency in C and Linux.
- Experience with Git and build automation tools.
- Familiarity with menuconfig, make, and kernel patches.
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory and GitLab CI.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Knowledge of automotive infotainment system architecture and components.
- Experience with Android architecture and build systems and knowledge of Bazel are bonus qualifications.
