Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, develop, integrate, test, and administer embedded and real-time software systems.
  • Develop and troubleshoot cryptographic software code bases and embedded real-time multi-threaded applications.
  • Analyze system capabilities and resolve issues involving program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware, and Integration & Test teams.
  • Work within an Agile software development environment.

Requirements

  • Engineer level: Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 0 years of experience.
  • Principal Engineer level: Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience, 3 years with a master’s degree, or 1 year with a PhD.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. government Secret clearance and Special Program Access as determined by business needs.
  • Preferred: active Secret clearance or higher, proficiency in C/C++ and object-oriented programming, and experience across the formal software lifecycle.
  • Preferred: experience with low-level firmware and software integration, embedded real-time systems, Jira, Bitbucket, Git, cryptographic libraries, Xilinx platforms, TCP/IP, Link 16, CORBA, and software-defined radios.
  • Preferred: familiarity with HAIPE, OTNK, IKE, Link 16/TACAN waveform standards, and hands-on tactical datalink radio or terminal lab equipment experience.
