Responsibilities
- Lead discovery, design, delivery, maintenance, change requests, process enhancements, production support, and incident resolution for Finance and FinTech automation solutions.
- Map process and data flows, identify pain points, and recommend solutions using code, low-code/no-code platforms, RPA, APIs, workflows, or AI.
- Design and develop production-grade solutions and reusable automation components.
- Support AI-enabled use cases including data extraction, classification, workflow routing, reconciliation support, and exception handling.
- Own testing, monitoring, controls, exception handling, documentation, and production support.
- Define success measures and improve efficiency, accuracy, straight-through processing, and operational risk.
- Partner with Finance subject-matter experts, data owners, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
- Break down work, clarify ownership, review detailed solutions, and support team members.
- Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- Coach and support team members while remaining hands-on in a JC4 Team Lead role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in automation, software engineering, data engineering, intelligent workflows, business analysis, or digital transformation.
- Experience personally delivering a production solution from discovery through implementation and support.
- Strong programming experience in Python or a similar language.
- Experience designing solutions across data, applications, APIs, workflows, and business processes.
- Experience with testing, monitoring, exception handling, and production support.
- Ability to evaluate business challenges and select suitable process redesign, code, low-code/no-code, RPA, AI, or other technology-enabled solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead a workstream, clarify ownership, review quality, and support team members.
- Preferred experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, UiPath, Blue Prism, or similar tools.
- Preferred experience with GenAI, LLM, RAG, OCR, intelligent document processing, process mining, APIs, SQL, data pipelines, ETL/workflows, Git, or CI/CD.
- Preferred experience in Finance, FinTech, tax technology, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses.
- Knowledge of audit, SOX, access controls, or change management is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement experience is preferred.
