Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, fault-tolerant, performance-critical backend applications and APIs for mission-critical systems serving millions of users daily.
- Direct significant company-wide projects and establish technical vision, architecture, standards, and team direction.
- Implement advanced deployment pipelines and robust testing strategies to support seamless integration, deployment, and high code quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software development practices and technical knowledge.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing performance-critical applications in production using Scala, Java, Kotlin, or other relevant modern programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of relational database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Demonstrated ability to direct significant company-wide projects and set technical vision.
- Deep involvement in architectural decisions and establishing technical standards and direction.
- Good command of English.
- Preferred knowledge of NoSQL technologies, queueing systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or MSMQ, and Play Framework.
