Responsibilities
- Execute system design, development, verification, and maintenance of Flight Dynamics-related ground-segment software.
- Participate in Flight Dynamics architecture design and provide software engineering support.
- Develop in-house Flight Dynamics modules based on algorithms created by the Flight Dynamics team.
- Act as Product Owner or Technical Lead for supplier-developed products by assigning tasks, managing progress, and conducting reviews.
- Define and analyze requirements, create use cases and stories, support solution development, and evaluate proposed solutions.
- Generate and maintain software documentation.
- Support ground-segment verification, validation, and integration.
- Resolve technical issues for the satellite operations team and advise on best practices.
- Collaborate with ground-segment development and related teams.
Requirements
- Proven end-to-end development experience covering requirements definition, design, implementation, and testing for backend and frontend web applications.
- Experience developing web GUIs with React or another modern GUI framework.
- Experience developing multiple systems.
- Development experience in a Linux environment.
- Python coding experience.
- Application development using Docker containers.
- Agile development experience.
- Product Owner or Scrum Master experience is desirable.
- Technical communication skills in English, including reading, writing, and meetings, are desirable.
- AWS system development and operations experience, including services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, and Aurora, is desirable.
- Knowledge and practical experience in image processing and computer vision are desirable.
- Satellite system development experience is desirable.
- Knowledge and practical experience related to Flight Dynamics are desirable.
- Candidates must be from an Export Safe Country designated by the Japanese Government unless otherwise notified.
