Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack product capabilities spanning application architecture, data models, backend services, APIs, integrations, AI systems, and user experiences.
- Design and implement agentic systems with model interactions, tool use, retrieval, orchestration, state management, evaluations, observability, and guardrails.
- Use coding agents and AI development tools throughout the engineering lifecycle, including creating specifications, tests, development environments, CI pipelines, and evaluation systems.
- Translate ambiguous product opportunities into technical approaches, make architecture decisions, and guide products from prototype through production.
- Own production reliability, observability, security, performance, maintainability, customer feedback, product data, and adoption outcomes.
- Provide technical review and mentorship while helping define shared architecture, tools, standards, and operating practices for AI-native product teams.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience building across the full stack, including frontend and backend systems.
- At least 5 years of software engineering fundamentals covering system design, data modeling, APIs, testing, cloud-native development, security, observability, and production operations.
- At least 2 years of substantive hands-on AI-native engineering experience involving areas such as LLM APIs, coding agents, agent frameworks, tool integrations, retrieval systems, evaluation frameworks, or production guardrails.
- At least 1 year building reliable AI or agentic systems beyond prototype or demonstration environments, including taking products or major capabilities from zero to one through production.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent minimum 12 years of work experience; an associate’s degree is accepted with at least 6 years of work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI development tools to increase engineering leverage without reducing quality, exercise judgment under ambiguity, communicate technical decisions clearly, and collaborate with product, design, customers, and domain experts.
- Genuine interest in frontier AI and a consistent practice of testing new models, tools, and engineering approaches.
