Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and launch innovative products and services.
  • Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment.
  • Build scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost distributed storage, indexing, and query systems.
  • Design and implement solutions for broadly defined problems while owning key technical components.
  • Deliver high-quality software in an agile environment and help shape technical architecture.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
  • Experience with REST API-based services, or programming/scripting and managing full application stacks from the operating system through custom applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred: knowledge of system performance, memory management, and parallel computing principles.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS technologies.
  • Preferred: experience in process design and documentation.

  • Base salary range of $143,700.00–$194,400.00 USD annually, plus potential sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
