Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead integration of LLMs, VLMs, and multimodal LLMs into software products and platforms.
- Design fine-tuning strategies for pretrained models using LoRA, QLoRA, RLHF, and DPO.
- Architect agentic AI solutions, including agent and skill design, MCP tool/server integrations, and multi-agent orchestration workflows.
- Establish prompt-engineering standards and lead development of evaluation suites, test harnesses, and adversarial testing for agentic systems.
- Own deployment and operations across monitoring, versioning, rollback, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with software, product, security, and data teams and present architectures and lifecycle strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor team members and lead technical solutions for AI/ML and agentic systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years of relevant AI/ML experience with hands-on production integration of LLMs/VLMs.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Experience managing agentic AI systems through a full lifecycle and working with agentic frameworks and patterns such as MCP and tool/function calling.
- Experience with model documentation, model registries, AI governance, prompt engineering, and generative-AI evaluation methodologies.
- Proficiency with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Understanding of deployment practices for ML and agentic systems, including containerization, APIs, CI/CD, and versioning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include an active DoD Secret or higher clearance, mLLM/VLM experience, MLflow or similar MLOps/AgentOps tooling, vector databases, RAG architectures, transformer fine-tuning, AWS, Azure, GovCloud, IL levels, and presenting technical strategies to leadership or customers.
