Base Salary
$162k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with law firms and legal teams to understand workflows and identify high-value initial use cases.
- Build and deploy full-stack AI systems from prototype through production adoption.
- Guide customer adoption and contribute directly to production code across frontend and backend systems.
- Balance scope, speed, and quality while managing urgent and ambiguous delivery situations.
- Turn successful deployments into reusable tools, playbooks, and building blocks.
- Provide field feedback to Research and Product about model performance and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering, ML engineering, or technical deployment experience with customer-facing ownership in financial services or adjacent regulated industries.
- Experience owning complex AI or data-driven systems end-to-end in environments with significant financial or regulatory consequences.
- Production-grade coding experience across backend and frontend systems using Python, JavaScript, or comparable stacks.
- Experience deploying systems powered by LLMs or generative models, including understanding of model behavior, evaluation, and guardrails.
- Ability to communicate technical trade-offs across engineering, product, risk, compliance, and executive stakeholders.
- Experience with legal technology, legal services, compliance-heavy workflows, or professional services is helpful but not required.
