Responsibilities
- Build and ship Golang and gRPC backend services supporting customer experience, compliance, and consumer-team workflows.
- Evaluate, integrate, and support third-party SaaS platforms across the customer experience tooling ecosystem.
- Partner with product, design, security, and data teams on operational and compliance solutions.
- Drive code reviews, testing strategies, deployment processes, and observability standards including metrics, logging, and tracing.
- Translate complex technical concepts into recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Go and hands-on experience building scalable backend services with gRPC, event-driven architectures such as Kafka, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Experience evaluating, integrating, and operating third-party SaaS applications and vendor APIs in production.
- Experience operating production systems on AWS with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling such as BuildKite or similar.
- Experience implementing rate limiters, caching, load balancing, and circuit breakers.
- Ability to contribute to technical architecture decisions and deliver reliable, high-traffic production systems.
- Ability to use generative AI tools and copilots responsibly with human oversight, including tools such as LibreChat, Gemini, and Glean.
