Responsibilities
- Develop robust, scalable, high-performance backend microservices and APIs.
- Maintain and evolve core service domains with attention to reliability, throughput, and long-term architecture.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and game teams to define technical deliverables, plans, and milestones.
- Reduce technical debt through refactoring, workflow automation, and legacy-system modernization.
- Apply performance profiling, load testing, monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience designing and delivering web services using Java or Golang.
- Working knowledge of HTTP, gRPC, and API design best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, schema design, and query performance tuning.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and microservice design patterns.
- Exposure to at least one public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies, performance profiling, load testing, and bottleneck analysis.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, and product-focused problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Passion for gaming and hands-on microservices experience are bonus qualifications.
