Responsibilities

Develop, test, maintain, and enhance C++ software for the Eurofighter Typhoon programme.
Translate requirements into software designs and implementations and contribute to software architecture.
Investigate, diagnose, debug, and resolve software issues.
Collaborate with software, systems, firmware, and hardware engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
Participate in sprint planning, technical decision-making, code reviews, and continuous team improvement.
Take ownership of tasks from planning through delivery and uphold software quality standards.

Strong C++ programming skills.
Experience working in an Agile software development lifecycle.
Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary and multiple engineering teams.
Ability to analyse requirements and produce effective software designs and implementations.
Working knowledge of Git or equivalent source control and familiarity with a debugger.
Understanding of good engineering practices and high software quality standards.
Preferred: experience with large or complex software systems, technical leadership or mentoring, software architecture, component-based development, embedded environments, static analysis, code coverage tooling, Atlassian tools, and CMake.
