Responsibilities
- Write test plans, cases, conditions, automation scripts, and test tools to ensure effective coverage.
- Design, build, maintain, and automate test frameworks across multiple integrated applications.
- Execute manual and automated testing, including long-duration test activities, and analyze test results.
- Log and track defects, prioritize software issues, and support root-cause and corrective-action analysis.
- Collaborate with QA, Development Engineering, Product Management, and Program Management on test strategy, project plans, estimates, goals, and schedules.
- Identify product and subsystem risks and dependencies while delivering work against milestones, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
- Mentor and train testers on test procedures, processes, best practices, and case execution.
- Create test reports and participate in peer and external reviews.
Requirements
- BE in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or another technical discipline.
- 3–7 years of related experience with a record of accomplishment.
- Experience with testing methodologies including API testing, integration testing, and test-driven development.
- Experience testing web-based, client/server, cloud, and IoT applications.
- Experience building automation test suites and using Playwright, Cypress, or Claude Code.
- Required scripting experience with VBScript, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Shell, or similar languages.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and database architecture and concepts.
- Experience with test and defect management or workflow tools; TestRail experience is a plus.
- Experience with security and load testing of cloud applications is a plus.
- Experience with code development in Java, C++, C#, or .NET is preferred.
- Knowledge of thermal and power device configuration and testing is preferred.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle, testing processes, and agile/scrum development is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills; English is required and other languages are a plus.
