Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers, Architects, R&D, QA, and TPMs to understand workflows, information needs, and automation opportunities.
- Translate organizational needs into processes, workflows, functional requirements, data models, and technical designs.
- Design, develop, and deploy tools and automation across the software lifecycle, from feature definition through release and maintenance.
- Apply AI models, frameworks, agents, and development tools to engineering and operational problems.
- Build AI-enabled applications and workflows for information synthesis, engineering-data interaction, risk identification, repetitive-task automation, and decision support.
- Develop and customize Jira-based workflows, integrations, automation, reporting, and related engineering-system solutions.
- Build web-based tools and interactive applications integrating multiple engineering tools, databases, and APIs.
- Develop dashboards and analytics for features, bugs, releases, milestones, dependencies, risks, and execution status.
- Own solutions from discovery and requirements through architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development, internal tools, or automation experience, preferably in a complex software development environment.
- Strong hands-on ability to independently build and deliver applications, tools, integrations, and automation.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle and the ability to translate cross-functional needs into technical solutions.
- Proven hands-on experience evaluating and applying modern AI models, frameworks, APIs, and AI coding agents in daily development.
- Experience taking AI solutions from concept and prototyping through evaluation and production.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, databases, and web technologies.
- Experience integrating multiple systems and data sources through APIs, databases, and automation frameworks.
- Strong systems, process, product, and user-oriented thinking, along with the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across technical subject areas and organizational levels.
- Preferred experience developing AI-native internal tools, automation platforms, and agentic workflows integrated with enterprise systems and APIs.
- Preferred familiarity with agent frameworks, knowledge-based architectures, Claude Code, and Codex.
- Preferred experience developing web applications, interactive data-driven interfaces, Jira customizations, dashboards, analytics, and automated reporting.
