Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to build the product.
- Develop, own, and maintain highly scalable distributed services and solutions.
- Implement a microservices-based architecture using Go and Python.
- Ensure application performance and uptime while maintaining high code quality.
- Maintain continuous integration and deployment tools.
- Create unit and integration tests for software code.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in product development involving distributed systems and microservices.
- Strong programming skills in Go on Linux, with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Ability to collaborate across geographically distributed, cross-functional teams and deliver end-to-end products and features.
- Strong organization, communication, interpersonal, leadership, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Experience with gRPC, gRPC context, and Protocol Buffers is a plus.
- Experience with infrastructure and systems engineering and scaling services on cloud computing platforms such as GCP is a plus.
