Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI-enabled frontend applications and Python backend services.
- Implement MCP servers, clients, tools, schemas, integrations, authorization, and deployment patterns.
- Develop modular agent workflows, reusable skills, and orchestration for complex multi-step tasks.
- Integrate LLM applications, RAG systems, agent platforms, backend APIs, and secure enterprise services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC, SSO, OAuth 2.0, API keys, scopes, and token-based access controls.
- Add logging, tracing, monitoring, and agent observability using enterprise-compatible tooling.
- Prepare applications and services for deployment on OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
- Write documentation, integration guides, API specifications, and operational runbooks.
- Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support readiness.
Requirements
- Specialty software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Strong Python proficiency and experience with FastMCP, FastAPI, Flask, or similar service frameworks.
- Experience with REST APIs, asynchronous services, event-driven architectures, AI or LLM systems, agent platforms, or AI APIs.
- Experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser rendering, DOM APIs, and performance tuning.
- Experience with MCP servers, the MCP protocol, tool registration, schemas, message flows, clients, servers, and lifecycle patterns.
- Experience developing agent-driven workflows with LangChain, Google ADK, or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, access control, SSO, OAuth 2.0, API keys, token-based access, RBAC, and scopes.
- Experience with automated testing, Playwright, performance testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and secure scalable application delivery.
- Preferred experience includes MCP server development, reusable agent skills, Pydantic, JSON Schema, Zod, long-running autonomous agents, RAG, vector search, embeddings, LangSmith, OpenTelemetry, Arize, Splunk, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Teams UI integration, prompt engineering, skill engineering, and knowledge graphs.
