Responsibilities
- Drive pre-sales technical strategy and develop go-to-market solutions for large-scale Google Cloud TPU agreements and deployments across APAC.
- Advise customers and hosting partners on end-to-end TPU software stack architecture and integration with fleet management, schedulers, IaaS tooling, storage, compute, and networking environments.
- Guide technical qualification, pod layout design, system turn-up, operational readiness, lifecycle management, OS and firmware upgrades, telemetry integration, and hardware maintenance workflows.
- Profile, migrate, and optimize large-scale distributed training and inference workloads and data pipelines for Google Cloud TPU hardware topologies.
- Partner with technical Sales teams, customers, data center partners, product marketing, and engineering teams to address technical challenges and influence product solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud-native or high-performance computing infrastructure architecture in a customer-facing pre-sales, solutions architecture, or deployment engineering role.
- Experience developing, deploying, and orchestrating distributed AI/ML workloads using frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, vLLM, or SGLang and schedulers such as Kubernetes or Slurm on AI accelerator hardware.
- Experience with Linux host software, cluster control planes, and data center infrastructure integration involving compute, high-speed networking, and storage.
- Experience integrating large-scale accelerator clusters with fleet management APIs, IaaS operations tools, BMC/Redfish hardware management, and Prometheus telemetry pipelines.
- Experience designing, commissioning, and operating large-scale AI/HPC infrastructure farms involving data center space, power, liquid cooling, Optical Circuit Switches, Top-of-Rack networking, and hardware repair workflows.
- Experience with performance profiling and kernel optimization tools such as XProf, PyTorch Profiler, Pallas, or MaxText.
- Fluent English communication is required; fluent Mandarin communication is preferred for supporting regional customers.
