Responsibilities
- Work with customers on software and system development tools from system bring-up through mass production.
- Solve customer problems involving debug, telemetry, tooling, and low-level system behavior.
- Deliver customer training and value-added services such as bring-up support and reviews.
- Develop and debug software for complex heterogeneous multiprocessing systems.
- Provide feedback from customer experiences to product development and marketing teams.
- Support hardware and application performance debugging.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering.
- Multiple years of experience in software tooling and platform development, preferably for servers.
- Extensive knowledge of debug protocols, especially JTAG, hardware debug probes, and developer debug environments.
- Knowledge of developing and programming for heterogeneous multiprocessing systems.
- Experience with semiconductor bring-up, including power-on, firmware enablement, and full operating system boot.
- Experience in an application engineering group or working directly with customers.
- Experience crafting and debugging software in C/C++ and assembly.
- Experience in low-level debug.
- Knowledge of the Arm ISA and Arm CoreSight debug architecture is preferred.
- Knowledge of hardware performance debugging or application performance debugging is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer empathy.
