IT B2B/EDI Developer
ContinentalResponsibilities
- Develop and maintain EDI/B2B communication solutions through mapping, configuration, and scripting.
- Configure connectivity with external partners and internal systems using SFTP, OFTP2, AS2, HTTPS, SOAP, and RESTful APIs.
- Gather requirements with business and IT teams, evaluate technologies, and deliver integration solutions.
- Provide daily support for EDI applications, troubleshoot problems, and resolve incidents.
- Participate in system upgrades and projects while ensuring compliance with business requirements, standards, and governance.
Requirements
- Academic degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of IT or industry experience, ideally as a developer.
- At least 3 years of EDI development experience in an international environment.
- Strong EDI mapping and translation experience with EDIFACT, ANSI, VDA, XML, JSON, and CSV.
- Technical expertise in B2B integration, security protocols, and multiple communication methods.
- Understanding of Order-to-Cash, purchasing, and logistics business processes.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Preferred: Linux commands and scripting, API platforms, JavaScript, Python, authentication and authorization methods, and SAP Order-to-Cash transactions.
