Base Salary
$126k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead execution and delivery for large-scale or multiple application development efforts.
- Provide architectural guidance, conduct design reviews for Agile and Plan of Record projects, and conduct code reviews for Next Gen Architecture projects.
- Develop, promote, and communicate design patterns, best practices, and architectural strategies across lines of business.
- Assess technical and business risks, communicate impacts to stakeholders, and support informed trade-off and delivery decisions.
- Guide teams on efficient system design, including hardware, runtime, performance, load, and memory considerations.
- Mentor and coach software development engineers and influence teams beyond the immediate area of focus.
- Drive delivery planning, dependency resolution, escalation management, blocker removal, and continuous improvement.
- Support adoption of new technology and communicate metrics related to design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD, and design-pattern adoption.
- Ensure software development practices align with CTO guidelines, platform standards, applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in application development or senior-level enterprise architecture.
- 2–3 years of Gen AI experience.
- Experience with Python, Java, AI strategy, governance, and Devin AI.
- Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, networking, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with AWS, Akamai, and Lightspeed, including AWS PWS.
- Knowledge of automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in CI/CD.
- Ability to lead resources, serve as a functional subject matter expert, and provide architectural and technical direction independently.
