Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate in-house Generative AI applications aligned with KION’s AI Strategy and AI Governance.
- Build LLM-powered solutions using prompt engineering, context architecture, context management, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
- Implement build-test-deploy pipelines for AI and agent solutions with reproducibility and quality controls.
- Develop AI agents, APIs, MCP integrations, platform services, and reusable GenAI components.
- Integrate security, scalability, performance, observability, explainability, traceability, source attribution, and user-facing transparency mechanisms.
- Implement AI safety mechanisms, guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and hallucination-mitigation techniques.
- Research emerging AI technologies and assess their suitability for adoption.
- Translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and evaluate system and model performance, troubleshoot production issues, manage incidents and changes, and support users.
- Create technical documentation, maintain knowledge sharing, and drive continuous improvement of AI services and platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4–5 years of professional experience as an application developer, ideally in AI/ML or backend service development.
- Strong hands-on experience with LLMs including Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini.
- Expertise in prompt engineering, context management, AI search, and RAG pipeline design for enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript, with strong experience developing client-server communication, APIs, and MCP.
- Working knowledge of Terraform for managing cloud resources in GCP and Azure.
- Familiarity with LLMOps/AgentOps tooling, LangChain/LangGraph, ADK, orchestration engines, and vector databases such as pgvector.
- Experience building trustworthy AI systems with evaluation frameworks, hallucination mitigation, explainability, traceability, source attribution, reasoning transparency, and AI guardrails.
- Experience deploying reliable and scalable AI applications to production and monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving them.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, experimentation, and innovation skills; enterprise experience is a plus.
- Very good knowledge of English.
- GitHub Certified: Agentic AI Developer or Claude Certified Architect - Foundations certification is advantageous.
