Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate secure, scalable, and trustworthy Generative AI applications aligned with KION’s AI Strategy and AI Governance.
- Build LLM-powered applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions, AI agents, APIs, and reusable platform components.
- Implement build-test-deploy pipelines for AI and agent solutions with reproducibility and quality controls.
- Integrate hallucination mitigation, explainability, traceability, source attribution, transparency, safety mechanisms, and AI guardrails.
- Research emerging AI technologies and assess their adoption potential.
- Translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and evaluate system and model performance, troubleshoot production issues, manage incidents and changes, and improve AI services continuously.
- Create technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 4–5 years of professional experience as an application developer, ideally in AI/ML or backend service development.
- Strong hands-on experience with LLMs including Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini, along with modern AI-assisted development workflows.
- Expertise in prompt engineering, context management, AI search, and RAG pipeline design for enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript, with strong client-server communication development experience using APIs and MCP.
- Working knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and cloud resource management with GCP or Azure.
- Familiarity with LLMOps/AgentOps tooling, LangChain, LangGraph, ADK, and pgvector.
- Experience building trustworthy AI systems with evaluation frameworks, hallucination mitigation, explainability, traceability, source attribution, reasoning transparency, and AI guardrails.
- Experience deploying reliable and scalable AI applications to production and monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving production AI services.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Specialization or demonstrable expertise in AI/ML, Generative AI, software engineering, data engineering, and development.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, experimentation, innovation, and stakeholder collaboration skills; enterprise experience is a plus.
- GitHub Certified: Agentic AI Developer or Claude Certified Architect - Foundations certification is advantageous.
- Very good knowledge of English.
