Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver Java-based microservices and application systems across the full software development lifecycle.
- Architect scalable, highly available solutions using Java 8 or higher, Spring Boot, and MongoDB.
- Integrate Kafka and MQ middleware into high-volume, event-driven distributed systems.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, OpenShift, and related cloud technologies.
- Analyze complex application and business process problems and recommend engineering solutions.
- Implement security controls and post-deployment safeguards supporting system integrity, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and advise cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of hands-on experience in software application development, systems analysis, and end-to-end project delivery.
- Strong production-level Java 8 or higher and Java microservices experience.
- Practical experience with Spring or Spring Boot for backend service development.
- Expertise in MongoDB and NoSQL database design, querying, and integration.
- Experience integrating Kafka or MQ-based messaging middleware into high-volume event-driven systems.
- Working knowledge of Docker, OpenShift, or equivalent containerization platforms and cloud technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Apache Flink, caching technologies, complementary UI technologies, and consulting or project management methodologies is beneficial.
