Responsibilities
- Design and build Python microservices, APIs, and reusable packages.
- Develop secure, scalable backend systems supporting SaaS, PaaS, and Analytics as a Service products.
- Write clean, documented code with unit tests and maintainable architecture.
- Collaborate with engineering, delivery, QA, product, and design teams.
- Translate complex requirements into working features with minimal oversight.
- Perform integrations with enterprise applications and promote usability and code reusability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant software development experience, including 4+ years of Python 3.x development.
- Experience with Django, Flask, Celery, FastAPI or another standard industry API, and relational databases using SQL or ORM.
- Experience with microservices-based and modern cloud-based architectures.
- Experience with Azure cloud development and deployment practices is desired; other cloud platforms are acceptable.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Databricks is highly valued.
- Experience with React or Angular is a plus.
- Strong ability to develop reliable, scalable, testable, and maintainable software.
- Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, work independently, and complete tasks within realistic time frames.
