Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver end-to-end software solutions using .NET technologies.
- Understand business requirements and create appropriate technical solutions using available technology options.
- Support common architecture, technology strategies, bank-wide standards, and best practices.
- Design complex functional solutions and create proof-of-concepts while identifying impacts, risks, dependencies, and constraints.
- Work with engineers to prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs, issues, and change requests.
- Conduct peer reviews and review solution designs and architectures for business, usability, functional, and integration requirements.
- Investigate reuse and ensure solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and deployable.
- Advise business stakeholders on technology investments aligned with the bank’s architecture blueprint.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of solutions and realization of business benefits.
- Improve component availability and performance using monitoring, observation, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Serve as a functional specialist and day-to-day leader for work efforts within regulatory reporting value streams.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in software development using .NET technologies.
- Strong experience with .NET Core 8/10, C#, Blazor Client WASM, Blazor Office 365 integration, IIS, CSS, LINQ, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, REST API, Web Forms, Razor, Entity Framework Core, and SAP HANA.
- Experience with AI-supported engineering using GitHub Copilot and Gemini, including effective prompting for development.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, including lists and dictionaries.
- Expertise with Visual Studio 2022 and Visual Studio Code.
- Hands-on experience debugging code, identifying defects, and writing complex programs.
- Experience with Beyond Compare, Postman or Bruno, Visio, and branching strategies using Bitbucket or GitHub.
- Ability to understand business requirements and design and develop solutions.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong documentation and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in virtual, matrixed, and global teams while working across different cultures.
- A degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, particularly in Computer Science or a related IT field.
- Preferred experience includes SAP ABAP, TeamCity CI/CD pipeline setup, PowerShell automation scripting, DevOps, and VBA.
