Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support end-to-end business software solutions using .NET technologies.
- Understand business requirements and create reliable, maintainable, reusable, and integrable solution components.
- Implement common architectures, technology strategies, standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Create complex functional designs, solution options, proof-of-concepts, and impact and risk assessments.
- Prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs, issues, and change requests.
- Conduct peer reviews and review solution designs and architectures against business and technical constraints.
- Advise business stakeholders on technology investments aligned with the bank’s architecture blueprint.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of solutions and realization of business benefits.
- Improve component availability and performance through monitoring, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Serve as a functional specialist and day-to-day leader for work efforts within regulatory reporting value streams.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in software development using .NET technologies.
- Strong experience with .NET Core, C#, Blazor Client WASM, Blazor Office 365 integration, IIS, CSS, LINQ, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, REST API, Web Forms, Razor, Entity Framework Core, and SAP HANA.
- Experience using AI-supported engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and Gemini, including effective prompting for development.
- Strong knowledge of data structures including lists and dictionaries, complex programming, debugging, and defect resolution.
- Expertise with Visual Studio 2022 or Visual Studio Code.
- Hands-on experience with Beyond Compare, Postman or Bruno, Visio, and branching strategies using Bitbucket or GitHub.
- Ability to understand business requirements and design and develop appropriate solutions.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong documentation and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in virtual, matrixed, and global teams.
- Experience managing complex and sizeable global IT change projects in waterfall and Scrum/agile environments is required.
- Preferred experience includes SAP ABAP development, TeamCity CI/CD pipeline setup, PowerShell automation scripting, and VBA.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and use AI tools responsibly and ethically to improve productivity and solve business problems.
- Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Computer Science or an IT-related field.
