Responsibilities
- Work with large-scale distributed systems and understand their architecture and trade-offs.
- Lead technical direction for your team and align solutions with business strategy.
- Drive innovation while ensuring resilient and scalable solutions.
- Mentor engineers and maintain a high technical standard.
- Write, test, and maintain high-quality code.
- Participate in code reviews and support team growth.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders on new experiences.
- Ensure observability and performance monitoring across services.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents.
- Contribute to mobile and frontend development as needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in developing digital products in complex environments.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.
- Proven track record of designing large-scale systems for thousands or millions of users.
- Strong background in object-oriented or functional programming languages.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives within a team.
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar.
- Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies and CI/CD.
- Strong communication skills for risk identification and trade-off explanations.
- Advanced English skills.
