Responsibilities
- Support complex pre-sales deals and own the technical engagement and technical win.
- Design end-to-end Qualys and partner-integrated solutions based on customer security, compliance, and business requirements.
- Conduct customer workshops, whiteboarding architecture sessions, proof-of-concepts, proof-of-value engagements, and post-sale deployment health checks.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with technical decision makers and deliver compelling proposals and technical presentations.
- Identify customer use cases and product gaps, communicate feature requests to product management, and contribute to product roadmap planning.
- Develop sales-enablement packages, product messaging, solution guides, blogs, and whitepapers; train field sales and represent Qualys at industry events.
- Document and share business and technical insights with regional and corporate leadership.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Qualys and other security and compliance platforms as a practitioner, technical seller, sales engineer, or customer success architect.
- Demonstrated proficiency with public cloud infrastructure services and professional certifications in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Hands-on expertise in asset management, patching, vulnerability management, policy compliance, configuration management, cloud security, application security, and threat detection.
- Ability to design and understand complex security architectures spanning identification, remediation, and recovery.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and compliance frameworks used in corporate and government security programs.
- Experience interacting with customers in comparable technical seller or solution delivery roles.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Preference for candidates living in the Southeast United States.
