Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for internal developer platforms and tooling.
Develop APIs, automation services, service frameworks, and platform components using Java and Python.
Improve developer experience systems, including build, test, deployment, service provisioning, environment management, and release automation.
Partner with DevOps and platform teams on delivery pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Improve observability, logging, tracing, monitoring, and reliability for internal engineering systems.
Collaborate with frontend engineers working in Angular and Flutter on internal dashboards and tooling.
Identify software delivery bottlenecks and build scalable solutions that reduce operational friction.
Lead technical design discussions, mentor engineers, and promote best practices in developer experience, automation, and platform engineering.

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong backend development experience with Java and Python.
Experience building internal tools, platforms, or developer-facing systems.
Experience with Spring Boot, FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar frameworks.
Understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
Experience building APIs and automation services at scale.
Familiarity with Angular and TypeScript for frontend integration.
Experience with software delivery pipelines.
Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Preferred qualifications include platform engineering, developer experience, internal tooling, event-driven systems, message queues, developer portals, GraphQL, API gateways, Terraform, observability tooling, build systems, test automation, release engineering, large-scale engineering organizations, or monorepo environments.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, systems thinking, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
