Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop automated CI/CD build and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, CloudBees, Artifactory, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, and Bitbucket.
- Deploy, configure, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade Kafka and Elastic clusters and environments.
- Configure applications to integrate network data into an Elastic/ELK stack hosted in AWS.
- Apply DoD security standards and STIG requirements to applications and code.
- Build dashboards and observability solutions covering application health, performance, availability, security posture, infrastructure utilization, and cloud spend.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, automation, metrics, logs, and traces to improve incident detection, root-cause analysis, and reliability.
- Optimize cloud and infrastructure costs through utilization analysis, rightsizing, idle-resource identification, and storage and compute optimization.
- Manage enterprise certificate provisioning, renewal, rotation, expiration monitoring, and automation.
- Develop automated tests using Ansible, Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, and other applicable tools.
- Troubleshoot installation, infrastructure, and system issues and identify, monitor, and mitigate technical risks.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Cloud, and Application Engineering teams in a geographically distributed Agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline and 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and 2–6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing software in an Agile environment and on Linux platforms.
- Experience with distributed version control, including Git and Bitbucket.
- Experience with Python, Java, SQL, JSON/REST web services, and JavaScript is preferred.
- Experience designing and deploying software in cloud environments, particularly AWS, is preferred.
- Experience building DevOps pipelines with Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible is preferred.
- Experience deploying software in Kubernetes and Docker containerized environments is preferred.
- Experience with Atlassian tools including Bitbucket integrations with JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
- Experience with software design, API integrations, extensions/plugins, technical documentation, test cases, deployment documentation, and artifact reviews is preferred.
- DoD software development experience, including meeting security scans and STIG requirements, is preferred.
- Ability to obtain an interim DoD Secret clearance before starting; an active Secret or higher clearance is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II-or-higher certification, such as Security+ CE or CISSP, within the stated onboarding period; an active certification is preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, documentation, collaboration, and independent-work skills are required.
