Base Salary
$153k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy scalable AI/ML services with pragmatic trade-offs across performance, maintainability, security, and extensibility.
- Own complex features from architectural planning and API design through implementation and post-release observability.
- Define verification and validation practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, for reliable and compliant AI services.
- Integrate CI/CD and MLOps practices for automated model builds, testing, and deployment.
- Translate product requirements into technical designs and shape implementation details.
- Produce technical documentation required for regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate across functions through cross-training and documentation to maintain continuity in critical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience with AI production systems and data services.
- Expertise with Python, PyTorch, SQL, Postgres, NoSQL, Redis, or similar data technologies.
- Experience testing ML models through unit and integration testing, including data validation, correctness checks, and reproducibility.
- Experience with CI/CD, orchestration tools, MLOps, and ML/data platforms including Airflow, MLflow, Kubernetes, Terraform, SageMaker, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Snowflake, and Snowpark.
- Strong collaboration skills with ML scientists, engineers, and regulatory teams.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive clarity across product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
