Base Salary
$164k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive new features from end-to-end through prototyping, validation, implementation, launch, and continuous iteration.
- Help craft a modern user experience for accessing content and communities on Reddit.
- Contribute to a Reddit design system and component library.
- Build the technical foundation for future features and experiences.
- Collaborate with partner teams to deliver high-quality UI components.
- Tackle tough design and product problems.
- Work cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering teams.
- Contribute to the full development cycle including technical design, development, testing, and launch.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript, TypeScript, or other relevant languages.
- Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Experience with Web Components or LitElement is a plus.
- Deep experience with a modern web stack and debugging.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as unit testing and code reviews.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote environment.
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
